Area Sales Manager - stationed in Shanghai

Job Objective

• The incumbent will work as an Area Sales Manager in China. He/She will be responsible for exploring and developing new business opportunities in following industries: wood, plastic, chemical, foodstuff, mineral, recycling, flaking, fiberizing, fine grinding, agglomerating, granulating, separating.
  
• Research the market opportunities for size reduction technology and gather target groups.
• Act as a local sales manager to lead and coordinate new projects in accordance with the head quarter in Germany.
• Negotiate with customers, distributors, retailers, importers and authorities.
• Develop the regional business by ensuring satisfactory relationships with business partners and customers coming from above mentioned industries. 
  
• Coordinate with overseas team members to make sure services and orders are delivered on schedule.
• The candidate must have the potential to work as an Area Sales Manager in the near future. The position is based on a long-term cooperation.

Qualifications

• Chinese as a native language with excellent written and spoken English skills. Additionally German language skills would be an advantage.
• A degree in engineering is preferred, but not prerequisite. Additional good technical understanding will be favoured.
  
• Previous relevant work experience in the size reduction and preparation techniques in various industries is desired but not necessarily prerequisite. Working experience in Europe and/or Western countries would be highly preferred.
• Previous relevant work experience as a Sales Manager.
• Flexibility to work in Beijing at our client’s office after several years.
• He/she must be highly motivated, team orientated and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to structure and organize the work process is necessary.
  
• Very good computer skills (MS Office)
• The Candidate must be career-minded and flexible without restrictions.
